An immediate opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support an inpatient behavioral health facility. This critical role requires a proactive pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical operations for approximately four weeks while the permanent Pharmacist in Charge is being selected.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (30-minute unpaid meal break)
Duration: Approximately 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Manage medication dispensing and ensure accuracy and safety
  • Supervise repackaging processes using systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
  • Load medications into automated dispensing machines and run restock reports
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to support patient care
  • Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred
  • Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is highly desirable
  • Competence in repackaging medications and managing automated drug systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage pharmacy functions effectively
