Lead the retail pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager in Burnham, PA, overseeing all aspects of the department within a dynamic grocery store setting. Schedule & Hours (Bi-Weekly 62 hours):

  • 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
  • 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
  • 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
  • Variable day/afternoon shifts
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative partnership with store operations and pharmacy staff to enhance associate engagement and align with company strategies.
  • Oversee prescription accuracy and compliance, completing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance under state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage department profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Collaborate with district management to control inventory and track weekly sales for optimal stock levels.
  • Align team performance with seven key departmental metrics focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert customer service by addressing medical inquiries and healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacist and associate workflows, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure security protocols are maintained within the pharmacy.
  • Handle customer concerns to build trust and maintain loyalty.
  • Engage with healthcare providers and utilize reference resources to resolve prescription issues.
  • Maintain orderly pharmacy environment and continuously develop staff competencies to enhance overall department performance.
  • Prioritize daily pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
