A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations in a busy retail pharmacy setting located in Williamsport, PA. This role requires strong leadership and business management skills to drive the success and profitability of the pharmacy department within a well-established retail environment.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 11-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
  • 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts
    Hours: 69 hours bi-weekly
    Start Date: ASAP
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, driving associate engagement and communicating company and department strategies effectively.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business, promote prescription growth, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Oversee inventory control in coordination with the pharmacy District Manager to meet customer demands while maximizing profitability.
  • Align department performance to key measurable metrics, enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline management.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Interact with physicians and use reference materials to clarify prescription-related concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department and promote ongoing staff development and training.
  • Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call coordination to ensure timely completion.
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
