Soliant Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Contract To Hire Today Apply

This position involves supporting sterile compounding operations, inventory management, quality assurance, and daily pharmacy workflow in a fast-paced setting serving infusion and specialty pharmacy patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision following USP <797> and <800> standards.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to cleanroom procedures.
  • Perform accurate pharmacy calculations and prepare compounded products.
  • Assist with labeling, packaging, and shipment of infusion medications.
  • Maintain compounding logs, batch records, and quality assurance documents.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Support expiration date monitoring and product rotation.
  • Maintain cleanroom equipment and participate in environmental monitoring.
  • Assist pharmacists with medication order processing and prescription fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA, OSHA, and company policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, and training programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and team members.
  • Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience in home infusion, hospital, or oncology settings.
  • Knowledge of sterile compounding principles, aseptic techniques, and USP requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform pharmacy calculations accurately.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and technology.
  • Location: Keystone Heights, FL
    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
    Job Type: 13+ week contract to hire
