A leading healthcare system is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations to oversee pharmacy services across a multi-building hospital campus located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for both daily operational excellence and long-term strategic growth of inpatient pharmacy services.

About the Environment
This inpatient pharmacy supports four hospital buildings within a single integrated campus, serving a high-acuity patient population and operating in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. The pharmacy is a critical hub within the broader care continuum, working closely with physicians, nursing teams, and hospital leadership.
What You’ll Lead
In this role, you will be responsible for full operational oversight of inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication management while building a strong, accountable team culture.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
Direct all day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations across a multi-building campus
Lead hiring, staffing, training, performance management, and HR-related functions
Establish and maintain workflow efficiency and departmental productivity standards
Serve as a primary pharmacy representative in hospital leadership meetings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care initiatives
Oversee regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and quality assurance
Manage operational and project budgets while driving cost-effective pharmacy operations
Support strategic planning and expansion of inpatient pharmacy services
What You Bring
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
Active Washington State Pharmacist license or ability to obtain prior to start
Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience
At least 3 years in a leadership role with direct reports (including hiring/firing authority)
Minimum 2 years managing operational and/or project budgets
Strong inpatient or hospital pharmacy operations background
Proven ability to lead teams in a high-acuity, fast-moving environment
