A major healthcare organization in Seattle is seeking a Senior Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations to lead pharmacy services across a multi-building hospital campus. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, compliance, and continued growth of inpatient pharmacy services.

This position is ideal for a seasoned pharmacy leader who thrives in a hospital environment and is comfortable balancing operational oversight with strategic collaboration across clinical and administrative teams.

Role Focus

You will be responsible for leading inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication management while partnering with hospital leadership to support ongoing service expansion.

Core Responsibilities
Direct day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations across a multi-site hospital campus
Lead, supervise, and develop pharmacy staff, including hiring and performance management
Oversee staffing structure, workflow efficiency, and departmental productivity
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Manage operational and project budgets for pharmacy services
Represent pharmacy operations in hospital leadership and interdisciplinary meetings
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care initiatives
Support strategic growth and expansion of inpatient pharmacy services


Required Experience & Qualifications
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
Active WA Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience
At least 3 years in a pharmacy leadership role with direct reports (including hiring/firing authority)
2+ years managing operational or project budgets
Strong inpatient or hospital pharmacy background required

Day shift schedule
Full-time, permanent position


Compensation
$230,000 – $268,000 annually
$20,000 sign-on bonus (eligible)
