A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations in Columbus, OH. This leadership role requires a strong background in managing pharmacy staff, with an emphasis on training and orientation, preferably within an infusion or specialty pharmacy setting. The Pharmacy Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective pharmacy operations.

Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Schedule flexibility required, including administrative on-call duties
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct pharmacy operations and staff to support efficient and compliant services
  • Ensure pharmacy adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards as well as State Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring activities safely and accurately
  • Manage licensing compliance and quality assurance measures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Perform patient-specific assessments to identify and resolve drug-related issues, updating care plans accordingly
  • Prepare and verify medication formulations; supervise clinical pharmacists, technicians, and interns
  • Maintain controlled substances security, distribution, and records
  • Serve as a drug information resource and collaborate with healthcare providers and referral sources
  • Manage all administrative functions for the pharmacy team, including hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning
  • Participate in pharmacist on-call rotation to ensure continuous support
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or R.Ph. with substantial clinical experience
  • Active, applicable pharmacist licensure per state requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years pharmacist experience, preferably with direct compounding and infusion or specialty pharmacy background
  • Postgraduate training and additional licensure as required by state regulations
  • Compensation is competitive and reflective of experience. Familiarity with pharmacy systems such as CPR+ and CareTend is preferred.
