A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the West Chester, PA area. This role is ideal for pharmacists with expertise in sterile compounding who are committed to high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance. The assignment offers a 13-week term with the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Responsibilities include ensuring all compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations meet accuracy and quality standards in line with master formula worksheets. You will implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and state and federal regulations, including USP guidelines for compounding practices. The pharmacist will monitor and operate production equipment, enforce aseptic techniques, prepare work areas, and conduct quality control testing to guarantee potency, purity, and safety. Continuous professional development and staying updated on new technologies and techniques in compounding pharmacy are also essential.

Schedule Options:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (may be assigned)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Recent pharmacy experience, with a focus on sterile compounding
  • Sterile compounding experience is required
  • Open to new graduates who meet licensure requirements
