Hospital Inpatient Director of Pharmacy in Black Eagle, MT
This leadership role offers the opportunity to serve as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a dynamic inpatient hospital setting located in Black Eagle, MT. The position supports a surgical hospital environment with a busy Emergency Department (ED), infusion center, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), outpatient services, and clinic hospital functions. This contract runs for 13 to 17 weeks and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities include both administrative oversight and direct staffing duties. You will lead a team comprising six pharmacists and four technicians within the hospital pharmacy, as well as three pharmacists and three technicians at the infusion center. Your role will be critical in stabilizing pharmacy operations, managing sterile compounding activities, and maintaining compliance across all pharmacy functions. Experience with Meditech order entry and TouchPoint automation systems will facilitate your success in this role.
