This opportunity calls for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential overnight pharmaceutical care within a pediatric hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: • Manage medication preparation and dispensing during night shifts • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate, timely medication administration • Monitor patient medication responses, particularly for pediatric patients • Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation • Provide expert guidance on weight-based pediatric dosing and clinical pharmacology
Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois • Proven hospital pharmacy experience with a strong background in clinical pharmacy • Pediatric experience with confidence in weight-based pediatric dosing calculations is essential • Ability to work effectively on a 7-on, 7-off night schedule from 9 pm to 7:30 am • Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy systems
