Staff Pharmacist Inpatient Hospital Lancaster, OH
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for an inpatient hospital pharmacy in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with strong inpatient hospital experience and advanced EPIC skills.
The pharmacy supports several specialty areas, including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, allergies, interactions, and appropriateness
Enter and process medication orders using EPIC
Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient units
Perform IV medication preparation and sterile compounding as required
Review and verify IV medications, antibiotics, TPN, PCA medications, and other high-risk medications
Monitor medication therapy, including renal dosing, drug interactions, and therapeutic levels
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy
Answer medication-related questions from healthcare staff
Support medication reconciliation and patient medication histories
Monitor medication safety and compliance
Provide clinical pharmacy support, including dosing recommendations and antibiotic stewardship as appropriate
Assist with pharmacy workflow and supervise/support pharmacy technicians
Participate in pharmacy operations and quality improvement activities
Requirements
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
Ohio Pharmacist license required
Highly skilled EPIC experience required
Strong clinical and medication-order verification skills
Ability to work independently in a hospital pharmacy environment
Must be available to start October 12, 2026
Must be willing to work occasional Saturdays and on-call responsibilities
