What Your Days Will Look Like
In this role, you’ll play a central part in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying prescriptions with a strong focus on accuracy and patient safety
  • Providing patient counseling and answering medication-related questions with care and clarity
  • Overseeing daily workflow and supporting pharmacy technicians
  • Utilizing PioneerRx to manage and process prescriptions
  • Ensuring full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume retail environment
  • Supporting occasional Saturday coverage as part of a shared team schedule

  • The Environment You’ll Join

    Busy retail pharmacy filling approximately 3,000 prescriptions per week. A collaborative team that values efficiency, communication, and patient care.

    Strong staffing support:

  • Weekdays: 2 pharmacists and 5–6 technicians
  • Saturdays: 1 pharmacist and 3–4 technicians

  • What You Bring
    We’re looking for a pharmacist who is confident, adaptable, and committed to excellence:

  • Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Familiarity with PioneerRx (preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
  • Strong communication and patient-facing skills
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work 1–2 Saturdays per month

  • Schedule

    Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, four weekdays per week
    Saturday hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (1–2 times per month)
