Retail Pharmacist
Looking for your next adventure? We’re hiring a licensed Travel Pharmacist for a short-term assignment in beautiful remote Alaska! This is a unique opportunity to work in a small critical access hospital while experiencing life in Cordova during the summer.
Assignment Details:
• 7-week contract starting June 1st
• Day shift schedule
• Monday – Friday
• Retail pharmacy hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 1-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Housing provided and fully paid
Job Duties:
• Assist at the retail pharmacy window
• Fill and verify prescriptions accurately
• Provide excellent patient service and counseling
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Work efficiently in a small hospital pharmacy setting
Requirements:
• Active Alaska Pharmacist license required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience required
• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Hospital or critical access experience preferred
• Ability to adapt to a remote/small-town setting required
