Pharmacy Technician - Springdale, Arkansas

A healthcare facility in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Temporary Lead Technician to support their pharmacy operations on a contract basis starting July 27th. This role provides critical frontline assistance to pharmacists within an environment focused on adolescent and adult behavioral health. Covering 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no weekend coverage is required.

Key responsibilities include accurately filling medication orders, delivering medications to medication rooms, managing inventory, handling daily warehouse order receipts with invoice reconciliation, processing recalls, assisting with medication room audits, and performing other supportive tasks as directed by the pharmacist. The role requires 2 days of hospital orientation followed by on-the-job training under the Director of Pharmacy or pharmacist.

Preferred qualifications:

The pharmacy team consists of 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. A professional dress code includes business casual or non-blue scrubs, as blue is reserved for patients.
