This direct hire opportunity seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to serve as a traveling liaison across multiple healthcare facilities throughout Maryland and Virginia. The role involves partnering closely with facility leadership and pharmacy teams to ensure high-quality medication management and regulatory compliance while supporting client-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and staff at assigned facilities to facilitate effective communication between the pharmacy and healthcare teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and supporting medication therapy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clinical services directors and pharmacy operations to deliver guidance and support related to medication management.
  • Conduct training and educational sessions for facility staff, including pharmacy and facility system training.
  • Perform monthly onsite visits with reporting to support continuous quality improvement and customer success.
  • Assist with survey preparation, medication cart/room inspections, and medication pass observations as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and introduce new products suited to client needs.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician licenses for both Virginia and Maryland are required.
  • PTCB certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy and medication distribution software (experience with EMAR, Medbank, Frameworks is a plus).
  • Reliable transportation for travel across assigned territories; availability for occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Location:

  • This role requires travel to various facilities primarily in Virginia (e.g., Alexandria, Woodbridge, Richmond) and Maryland.
  • Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with rare weekend work.
  • Flexibility for occasional later day audits is necessary.
