The Pharmacy Manager will ensure the precision and compliance of all prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations. This role requires managing the department’s profitability through script growth, clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and inventory control in collaboration with the District Manager.
Key responsibilities also encompass aligning departmental performance with measurable metrics, delivering exceptional customer service and healthcare counseling, supervising pharmacists and support staff, and leading training and development initiatives. The manager will oversee security protocols within the pharmacy, resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty, and liaise with physicians to address prescription-related issues. Additionally, maintaining the pharmacy's cleanliness and order, prioritizing tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls is essential.
