Lead pharmacy operations as a Pharmacist in Charge in a community setting, managing regulatory compliance, staff, and medication safety to ensure quality patient care. This role offers flexible employment options including contract, contract to hire, or permanent positions, with a Monday through Friday schedule and limited Saturday hours.

Location:

  • Clementon, NJ
  • Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and take charge of any investigations related to improper activities.
  • Supervise, train, and manage pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians to maintain a cohesive and knowledgeable team.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies covering medication dispensing, safety, and security protocols.
  • Oversee inventory management, including accurate record-keeping and secure storage of all medications, with special attention to controlled substances.
  • Lead initiatives focused on patient safety and quality assurance, including counseling patients and implementing performance improvement programs.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience within a pharmacy setting.
  • At least 3 years recent community pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively serve a diverse patient population.
  • Proficient with Pioneer RX pharmacy software.
  • Comfortable managing a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts daily.
  • Able to utilize strong technician support to optimize pharmacy operations.
