An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee regulatory, compliance, and quality operations at its Albany, Ohio facility. This onsite leadership role offers long-term career stability, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to senior management. Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Onsite in Albany, Ohio
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and manage licensure in additional non-resident states as required
  • Ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations
  • Lead and represent the facility during Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections and regulatory meetings
  • Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and comprehensive training programs
  • Oversee QA/QC activities including batch record reviews, deviations, investigations, and environmental monitoring
  • Manage validation of equipment, systems, and processes while maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality-related investigations
  • Provide expert regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams and present quality metrics to leadership
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, with a strong background in cGMP, FDA/DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding
  • Proven track record leading regulatory inspections and audits
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Preferred:

  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or related industries
  • 7+ years in quality or compliance roles with progressive responsibility
