Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Warsaw, Illinois
A Per Diem role is available to provide full-week coverage for a managed pharmacy located in Keokuk, Iowa, within a GapRx-supported FQHC/340B pharmacy setting. This assignment runs from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29, with daily hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. Keokuk is situated in the southeast corner of Iowa, near the Illinois state line along the river.
This position requires experience in retail/community pharmacy, particularly in opening and closing procedures and supervising pharmacy technicians. While prior experience with 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred, it is not mandatory. Strong pharmacy technician support will be available to assist in daily operations.
The pharmacy uses the Datascan system by WinPharm, so familiarity with this platform is beneficial. Candidates must hold an active Iowa pharmacy license. The role is ideal for someone comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment with supervisory responsibilities.
