Schedule:
Core responsibilities include verifying medication orders entered by data entry technicians for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice patients. The role involves checking blister-packed and sterile/non-sterile medications, managing controlled substance inventories, and responding to clinical queries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians. Additionally, the pharmacist will be responsible for checking emergency medication boxes.
Proficiency with operating systems such as QS1, Docutrack, and PCC is required to effectively carry out pharmacy operations.
