Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician with expertise in inpatient hospital settings to support a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves working overnight shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (9pm–7am), typically from Wednesday to Tuesday, for a 13-week contract with the opportunity for direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare IV admixtures and sterile compounds adhering to hospital protocols
  • Utilize Meditech for accurate order entry and medication processing
  • Manage inventory and automation tasks using Pyxis systems
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure timely and safe medication delivery
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety procedures in sterile compounding
  • Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
  • Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, particularly in a hospital environment
  • Strong experience with sterile compounding techniques
  • Proficiency using Pyxis automation systems
  • Familiarity with Meditech order entry software
  • Schedule:

  • 7 on, 7 off shift pattern
  • Hours: 9pm – 7am
  • Typically Wednesday through Tuesday schedule
