A pharmacy professional with relevant management and sterile compounding experience is needed to fulfill the role of Pharmacist in Charge in a specialized mail order and compounding pharmacy environment. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, lasting approximately 13 weeks.

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy management tasks, preparing and verifying sterile compounding admixtures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The pharmacy utilizes Prime Rx for order entry and operates with a staff consisting of one pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida pharmacy license is required.
  • Pharmacy management experience is highly desirable; however, consideration will be given to staff pharmacists with sterile compounding expertise who aspire to transition into a Pharmacist in Charge role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sterile compounding preparation and verification.
  • Ability to operate in a mail order and compounding pharmacy setting, maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.
