This opportunity calls for a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join a specialized non-sterile compounding pharmacy focusing on dermatology, HRT, hair restoration, wellness, and weight management. The pharmacy serves a nationwide telemedicine fulfillment practice and maintains licensing across all 50 states, providing a unique and fast-paced environment for professional growth.

Location: Tempe, AZ (on-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Remote Flexibility: Some remote hours may be allowed weekly
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (13 weeks) with potential conversion to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing regulatory compliance and pharmacy operations
  • Perform final verification checks on non-sterile compounded preparations
  • Review and approve compounding formulas, batch records, and quality assurance documentation
  • Ensure adherence to USP, California, and Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Collaborate with the existing PIC and pharmacy team to maintain smooth daily workflows
  • Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active California Pharmacist License (mandatory)
  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain preferred
  • Experience in non-sterile compounding highly desired
  • Prior PIC experience or readiness to assume this leadership role
  • Ability to work on-site in Tempe, AZ during standard business hours
