This opportunity is tailored for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) seeking a part-time role within a specialized opioid treatment center. The position is based in Louisiana, offering a consistent early morning schedule with the potential to evolve into a permanent role following an initial one-year contract.

Schedule: • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday • 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities: • Lead pharmacy operations as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring regulatory compliance • Conduct chart reviews and maintain meticulous documentation • Verify prescriptions and dispense medications when technician support is unavailable • Complete internal reporting and documentation utilizing Microsoft Excel • Operate independently in the absence of technician assistance • Engage with patients only upon request, focusing primarily on pharmacy operations • Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations throughout all processes

Qualifications: • Active pharmacist license in Louisiana with no disciplinary issues • 3–5 years of pharmacy experience • Experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment settings is preferred but not mandatory • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes • Capability to work autonomously within a structured workflow

Work Environment: • Small, specialized treatment facility with emphasis on compliance and patient safety • Minimal supervision with independent responsibilities • Limited direct patient interaction to support focused clinical operations
