Oversee critical pharmacy operations focused on home-based intravenous therapies as an Infusion Pharmacy Manager in a dynamic environment. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to lead clinical services and operational activities, ensuring safe, effective delivery of sterile compounded medications while managing a dedicated team of pharmacy professionals.

Location: Whittier, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, managing recruitment, training, performance reviews, and on-call rotation.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize clinical outcomes related to home infusion therapies.
  • Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow enhancement, and strategic performance initiatives.
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in California.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings with hands-on clinical and operational exposure.
  • In-depth knowledge of IV admixture services, regulatory requirements, and accreditation processes.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred.
