Position: Retail Pharmacy Technician
Assignment Length: 8 Weeks Contract to Direct Hire
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system
Assist with prescription dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist
Manage and order OTC inventory to maintain adequate pharmacy supplies
Greet and assist customers, providing excellent customer service
Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve insurance adjudication issues and process prescriptions
Requirements:
Active, clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
PioneerRx experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment
