We are currently hiring a Staff Pharmacist to support evening operations in a fast-paced, long-term care pharmacy environment. This is a direct hire position offering stability, structured workflow, and the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated pharmacy team serving high-volume prescription needs.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is comfortable working in a production-driven setting where accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are essential.
Role Overview
In this position, you will play a key part in ensuring medications are accurately reviewed, verified, and dispensed for long-term care residents. You will also provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians during the dispensing process.
Core Duties
Review and verify prescriptions using pharmacy software systems
Complete final clinical and safety checks prior to dispensing
Supervise technician workflow and ensure accuracy throughout production
Oversee medication dispensing in a closed-door LTC setting
Support compliance with all pharmacy regulations and internal procedures
Maintain efficient workflow in a high-volume environment
What We’re Looking For
Active Pharmacist license (required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Effective communicator and team collaborator
Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome
Schedule
Monday–Friday
4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Rotating weekends required
Compensation
$60–$62/hour (based on experience)
Evening shift differential included
