We are hiring pharmacists for multiple shifts. Please indicate your primary shift preference and whether you are open to additional shifts.

Day: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday — 3 openings
Afternoon: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday — 3 openings
Overnight: 9:30 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday — 2 openings
Weekend: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Thursday–Sunday — 2 openings

About the Role

The Verification Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and quality of compounded medications prior to dispensing. This position serves as a critical quality checkpoint by reviewing prescriptions, verifying compounded medications, and working closely with pharmacy technicians, compounding teams, quality assurance, and pharmacy leadership.

Responsibilities
Perform final pharmacist verification of compounded prescriptions prior to dispensing.
Verify prescription orders for clinical appropriateness, dosage accuracy, patient information, drug interactions, formulation integrity, and labeling requirements.
Ensure prescriptions meet applicable federal and state regulations.
Collaborate with sterile and non-sterile pharmacy technicians to maintain an efficient workflow and high-quality standards.
Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies, formulation questions, documentation issues, and medication-related concerns.
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to pharmacy technicians.
Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
Minimum of 1+ years of licensed pharmacist experience; 2+ years preferred.
Closed-door, specialty, or compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
Experience with prescription verification and medication safety.
Comfortable working in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
Knowledge of USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>, TSBP regulations, DEA requirements, and HIPAA preferred.
