Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Orland Park, IL

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a growing home infusion pharmacy team in Orland Park, IL. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting the preparation and coordination of infusion therapies for patients receiving treatment in their homes.

Previous home infusion or infusion pharmacy experience is required, including hands-on IVIG experience.

Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Full-time, onsite
- No weekends
- $24–$28 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Support IV and home infusion medication preparation.
- Assist with IVIG and other specialty infusion therapies.
- Label, package, and prepare medications and supplies.
- Follow aseptic technique and USP 797/800 standards.
- Maintain a clean and compliant sterile compounding environment.
- Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and expiration monitoring.
- Prepare medication orders and supplies for home infusion patients.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy and patient documentation.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and the infusion team.

Requirements
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Previous home infusion or infusion pharmacy experience required.
- IVIG experience required.
- Sterile IV compounding experience.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and USP 797 standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- PTCB/CPhT certification preferred.
