Pharmacist Part-Time Temp to Perm Alexandria, LA

RPh on the Go is seeking a reliable and experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for an opioid treatment center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a part-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a 1-year contract and strong potential for extension or direct hire. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in an independent setting and is looking for a consistent, early morning schedule.

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
5:00 AM – 10:00 AM
20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations
Perform chart reviews and maintain accurate documentation
Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with all regulations
Fill prescriptions when technician support is unavailable
Complete internal reports and documentation using Excel
Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
Operate independently with limited staff support
Minimal patient interaction unless requested
No billing or insurance responsibilities

Requirements:

Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history
3–5 years of pharmacist experience
Substance abuse or opioid treatment experience preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail

Compensation:
$65/hour
