A full-time Pharmacy Supervisor position is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy setting in Bakersfield, CA. This role focuses on leading a team of pharmacists dedicated to producing high-quality compounded preparations while ensuring compliance with stringent quality and safety standards.

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to excel in compounding operations
  • Set and maintain clear productivity and quality expectations
  • Support daily compounding workflow in alignment with safety and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate training and procedure documentation
  • Assist with drug selection for dispensing and compounded preparations
  • Identify opportunities for process and formulation improvements
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies as well as state and federal regulations
  • Qualifications:

  • Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a pharmacy lab or compounding environment
  • 2 to 5 years of compounding experience with strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and 503A requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
