Home Infusion Pharmacist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

About the Role:

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Home Infusion Pharmacist for a full-time opportunity with a respected home infusion pharmacy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position offers a stable day shift schedule and the opportunity to work in a specialized pharmacy setting dedicated to providing high-quality infusion therapies to patients in the comfort of their homes.

In this role, you will oversee the preparation and verification of infusion medications, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure patients receive safe and effective therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys a combination of clinical care, sterile compounding oversight, and patient-centered pharmacy practice.

What You’ll Do:

Verify and dispense home infusion medications accurately and efficiently

Oversee sterile compounding operations and ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards

Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and therapeutic appropriateness

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care

Provide patient counseling and education regarding infusion therapies

Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards

Support quality assurance initiatives and pharmacy operational goals

What You’ll Need:

Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (required)

Previous home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or sterile compounding experience preferred

Strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices and infusion therapies

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance

Schedule:

Full-Time
Day Shift, Monday through Friday
