Clinical Infusion Pharmacist | 6-8 Week Contract
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Infusion Pharmacist for a short-term contract opportunity with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with strong TPN and IV medication verification experience who is looking for a consistent weekday schedule.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6–8 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Near Burmingham, Alabama
Key Responsibilities
-Review, check, and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
-Perform clinical review and final verification of IV medications and TPN formulations.
-Ensure medication orders meet established safety and quality standards.
-Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare team members as needed.
-Accurately document and process orders using the CareTend system.
Requirements
-Current and active Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing.
-Prior infusion pharmacy experience, including strong TPN experience.
-Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV medications and TPN verification will also be considered.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
