Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department in Redding, CA. Enjoy the beauty Redding has to offer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmacy Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily pharmacy operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Achieve exceptional customer service, sales, inventory management, and expense control.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
  • Ensure all pharmacy staff understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Pharmacy Care Program:
  • Actively manage and deliver the Pharmacy Care program, including immunizations, injections, and patient testing.
  • Complete required immunization training (APHA or equivalent) and other required programs.
  • Monitor patient therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug reactions.
  • Provide professional patient counseling to ensure a clear understanding of drug therapy plans and expected outcomes.
  • Staff and Customer Service Leadership:
  • Lead by example, providing superior customer service and efficient prescription processing.
  • Oversee team performance in sales, customer service, and product stewardship.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and image at all times, ensuring staff follows suit.

    Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD) required.
  • Licensed pharmacist in the state of California.

    Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of laws governing OTC drugs, pharmacy products, and third-party plans.
  • Understanding of Pharmacy Policies & Procedures.
  • Familiarity with financial reports and their use in business decision-making.
