Duties:

Review patient charts for compliance, drug interactions, and therapy appropriateness.

Analyze appointments, labs, x-rays, and other pertinent data to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Address and escalate any issues to supervisors as needed.

Verify prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary ingredients and formulas.

Compound medications by accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.

Supervise pharmacy workers involved in mixing, packaging, and labeling medications.

Provide customers with drug interaction information, side effects, dosage, and storage instructions.

Maintain pharmacy files, inventory, and charge systems by entering patient and medication data.

Organize and plan daily pharmacy workflow for optimal efficiency.

Schedule/Shift:

Four 10-hour shifts (4x10's)

Night Shift

Requirements:

Oklahoma State Pharmacist license.

Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.

BLS certification (American Heart Association not required).

Program Systems Utilized:

Script Pro (training available).

McKesson.
