Travel Outpatient Pharmacist Central Michigan
We are seeking a travel outpatient/retail pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Central Michigan. The pharmacist will work 8-hour shifts within the pharmacy’s operating hours of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with alternating Saturday coverage (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). This role includes coordination with another pharmacist to ensure mid-day coverage and may require floating between two outpatient sites.

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM; some Saturdays (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Setting: Travel Outpatient/Retail
Float Requirement: Must be willing to float between two outpatient locations in Central Michigan
Duties:
Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
Provide patient counseling and education on medications
Review and interpret physician orders
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff
Assist in inventory management and ordering
Qualifications:
Active Michigan pharmacist license (or eligibility)
Previous outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and clinical skills
Ability to start quickly and adapt to new settings
Travel-ready candidates preferred
