We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a hospital in the beautiful city of Lewiston, ID. This is a prime opportunity for pharmacists who thrive in a clinical environment and are eager to make a meaningful impact.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

Schedule: Variable days/afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and safety in medication orders, performing precise checks on dosage, interactions, and patient history.

Lead and mentor the tech team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and best practices.

Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams, providing valuable pharmacological expertise and offering recommendations for optimizing patient treatment plans.

Apply clinical knowledge to manage complex drug regimens, including monitoring therapeutic drug levels and making adjustments as necessary for individualized patient care.

Serve as a critical resource for patients, ensuring proper medication therapy management and offering bedside consultations when necessary.

Ideal Candidate:

License: Active Idaho pharmacist license

Experience: Previous hospital experience in an inpatient setting

Attitude: A motivated, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic hospital environment
