We’re looking for a Staff Pharmacist to support a long-term care and hospice pharmacy on an 8-week contract (potential to extend). This is a great opportunity to step into a collaborative care environment and make an immediate impact on patient outcomes.
Details:
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12pm–8pm (No weekends)
Start: ASAP
Location: California (must have active CA pharmacist license)
Responsibilities:
Dispense and verify medications for LTC/hospice patients
Monitor compliance, identify drug-related issues, and advise patients and providers
Handle patient education, drug interactions, and non-prescription consultations
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds as needed
Supervise pharmacy support staff and maintain pharmacy records and inventory
Requirements:
Active California pharmacist license
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Experience in long-term care, hospice, or high-volume pharmacy settings preferred
Comfortable in a clinical role involving patient and provider interactions
