Setting: Closed-door specialty pharmacy focused on oral oncology

This specialty pharmacy in Bonita Springs (just south of Fort Myers on Florida’s Gulf Coast) is searching for an experienced pharmacist ready to step into a fulfilling role. The team is flexible on employment type — open to contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire — and looking to move quickly with qualified candidates.
Position Summary:
You'll play a key role in verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions (primarily oral oncology meds), overseeing technicians, and working directly with providers to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Prescription verification and final checks
Medication preparation and dispensing
Technician oversight and support
Direct communication with healthcare providers
Ensuring compliance and patient safety protocols
Qualifications:
Active Florida pharmacist license (required)
Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience
Immediate availability preferred
Background in specialty or oncology pharmacy is a plus
