We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge to join our team for an immediate temporary assignment. This role is perfect for a pharmacist with a solid background in infusion therapy and a thorough understanding of pharmacy operations. The position requires active licenses in Massachusetts (MA) and Pennsylvania (PA), along with the ability to start immediately. As the Pharmacist in Charge, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, reviewing medications before they ship, and ensuring full compliance with state pharmacy regulations. Location: Garnet Valley, PA 
Position: Pharmacist in Charge
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Duration: 4+ weeks (Immediate Start)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for both MA and PA, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring all medications are prepared and dispensed accurately and safely.
  • Review medications prior to shipment, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring that procedures are followed and providing support as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with both MA and PA Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring medications and supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards in all activities.
  • Communicate directly with healthcare providers and patients to clarify prescription issues and provide medication counseling.

    Requirements:

  • Massachusetts (MA) and Pennsylvania (PA) Pharmacy Licenses (required).
  • 1+ year of recent experience in infusion pharmacy (preferred).
  • Must be available to start immediately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy in a busy setting.
