Retail Pharmacist (Ongoing PRN Coverage) Vernon, CT
We are seeking a Connecticut-licensed Pharmacist for a per diem opportunity in a retail pharmacy in Vernon. While the initial coverage is for two dates in June, there is the potential for ongoing relief opportunities.
Schedule:
Thursday, June 5 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday, June 13 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently pursuant to prescription orders
Monitor patient drug therapies and identify potential therapeutic incompatibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and accurate information regarding prescriptions and health-related inquiries
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage inventory, ensure security of the pharmacy, and support clinical initiatives such as immunizations and medication therapy management
Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain workflow efficiency
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted CT Pharmacist License
Prior retail pharmacy experience required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy retail setting
