RPh on the go is searching for a Pharmacy Technician. Looking for a strong Technician to come in with solid pharmacy experience who has high energy and a strong retail background

Monday – Friday
9:00 AM- 6:00 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Compounds: Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, following specific formula worksheets.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform in-process quality checks and ensure all compounds meet the required standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly use, calibrate, and maintain equipment needed for compounding.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of compounding procedures, including calculations, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Inventory Management: Track, order, and receive supplies to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Compliance: Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines such as USP <795> and USP <800>.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of work areas and equipment.

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is often required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a compounding lab is beneficial.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients.
  • Communication: Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with pharmacists and other team members.
  • Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to workflow changes.
  • Compounding capsules, topicals and troches.

    Requirements: 

     

  • MD Pharmacy Technician license
  • Recent Pharmacy experience
  • Prefer previous exp working with capsules, topicals and troches would be great but not required.
