Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry Experience Required

Employment Type: Full-Time – rotating weekends – 2:00pm – 11:00pm

Job Summary:
RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with Order Entry Experience to join our pharmacy team in Concord, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in accurately processing and entering prescription orders into our pharmacy system while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role is critical in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform accurate and efficient order entry of prescriptions into the pharmacy system, ensuring proper dosage, drug interactions, and patient information.
•    Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications, including filling prescriptions and labeling.
•    Verify the completeness and accuracy of patient and medication information before order submission.
•    Address and resolve any discrepancies in prescription orders in collaboration with pharmacists and prescribers.
•    Ensure compliance with New Hampshire state laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
•    Assist with managing and maintaining pharmacy inventory, including checking expiration dates, restocking supplies, and reordering medications as necessary.
•    Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions, handling inquiries, and offering assistance with prescriptions.
•    Support pharmacy staff by helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
•    Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
•    Assist in additional administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing records, and other duties as assigned by the pharmacist.

Qualifications:
•    Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Hampshire, in good standing with the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy.
•    Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required.
•    Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with proven experience in prescription order entry.
•    Strong proficiency with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records (EHR).
•    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
•    Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, medication names, dosages, and medical terminology.
•    Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
•    Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve patient concerns professionally.
