Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Hugoton, Kansas
Job Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – 9am – 5:30pm
Thursday – 8am – 5:30pm

Position Summary: As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide patient-centered services in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Monitor patient medication therapy, recommending adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to patient safety programs.
• Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Kansas.
• Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records (EHR).
