Job Opportunity: Pharmacist – Philadelphia, PA (13-Week Duration)
Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist with experience in a clinical setting? We are seeking a skilled PA Pharmacist to join our team in Philadelphia for a 13-week assignment. The position involves rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts, and may require working weekends and holidays based on coverage needs. There is also the possibility of being assigned to other sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Review medication orders received from Physicians and Physician Extenders, ensuring that drug, dose, frequency, and route of administration are appropriate.

Evaluate patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and lab information to identify potential clinical conflicts before dispensing medications.

Oversee inventory control and ensure the proper management of pharmaceutical supplies.

Provide drug information support to other healthcare team members, promoting safe and effective medication use.

Supervise pharmacy students and technicians, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication preparation.

Collaborate with the healthcare team in discharge planning and coordinating the continuum of care.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy (Required).

PharmD (Doctorate of Pharmacy) is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a hospital or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical setting (Required).

Licenses/Certifications:

PA Pharmacist License (RPH-LIC) (Required).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred).

Other Information:

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Rotating (Day, Evening, Night), including weekends and holidays

Location: Philadelphia, PA (with potential for other site coverage)
