Join a dynamic specialty pharmacy setting seeking two experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacists to start immediately on an 8-10 week contract in North Las Vegas, NV. This fast-paced role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in specialty therapies while supporting cutting-edge infusion treatments. With an emphasis on compliance, patient care, and team collaboration, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional pharmacy services.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • On-call rotation on weekends
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulatory standards including State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, URAC, and ACHC
  • Provide counseling and medication therapy management tailored to specialty disease states
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Partner with Intake, Referral, and Clinical departments to optimize patient onboarding and timely prescription fulfillment
  • Maintain meticulous pharmacy records, manage quality assurance measures, and resolve incidents efficiently
  • Participate actively in the on-call rotation as required
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Nevada Pharmacist License (required)
  • BS or PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
  • Specialty, Infusion, or Compounding pharmacy background (Retail-only experience not accepted)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Specialty, Infusion, Hospital, or related pharmacy settings preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of specialty pharmacy operations, payer requirements, and clinical coordination
  • Familiarity with CareTend software is a plus
  • Proven ability to supervise pharmacy staff and manage multiple priority projects effectively
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong clinical judgment and in-depth knowledge of specialty medications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software systems
  • Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
