Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced PV1 and PV2 Pharmacists to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in clinical environments and want to contribute to patient care and medication management.
Job Details:
PV1 Pharmacist – More clinical in nature, this role involves working closely with healthcare providers to verify medication regimens and handle any insurance-related determinations. Retail pharmacists with explicit experience in these areas are encouraged to apply.
PV2 Pharmacist – Focused on checking and verifying production/fulfillment processes, while supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

PV1: Collaborate with providers to verify patient medication regimens

PV1: Manage insurance-related medication determinations

PV2: Oversee and verify production/fulfillment of medications

PV2: Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure quality control in medication preparation

Provide excellent communication and coordination within the team

Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and procedures Qualifications:

At least 1 year of prior high-volume Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required

High-performing retail pharmacists with strong provider communication experience will also be considered
