Part Time Retail Pharmacy Technician – Pontiac, MI
Soliant Health is seeking a bilingual and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy retail pharmacy in Pontiac, Michigan, located in the heart of the Detroit Metro area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, community-centered environment.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. The pharmacy is open Monday through Saturday, and the exact work days and hours will be arranged directly with the hiring manager. Whether you're looking for a 3-day work week or shorter shifts spread over 5 days, this role offers flexibility without sacrificing consistency.
Pharmacy Hours:Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacist with prescription preparation and medication dispensing
Operate the cash register and assist customers with purchases and inquiries
Accurately count, label, and shelve medications and over-the-counter items
Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy
Perform light physical work including stocking and moving products from pharmacy coolers
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish is required to assist the diverse patient population
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or community setting
Familiarity with prescription systems, pharmacy workflow, and customer service protocols
Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently in a busy environment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
