Oncology Pharmacist Job Full-Time CA
Position: Oncology Pharmacist
Type: Contract (6 months +)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist with a strong background in oncology to join our esteemed pharmacy team. This is an outpatient oncology role that requires a comprehensive understanding of oncology pharmacy practices and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care and support to patients in an outpatient oncology setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for oncology patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of oncology medications.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient treatment plans.
Requirements:
- PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Active California Pharmacist license.
- Extensive experience as an Oncology Pharmacist or completion of a PGY2 residency in Oncology Pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of oncology medications, chemotherapy regimens, and supportive care therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts between 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $70-$100/hr (Based on experience and qualifications).
