Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining specialty/oncology related protocols
• Promoting and measuring compliance with these protocols
• Developing and providing tools and education related to specialty/oncology medications both for physicians/staff and patients
• Advise physicians and health practitioners on the SPECIALTY MEDICATION interactions and side effects of medications
• Proactively review prescriptions for appropriate therapy for their disease states.
• Supervise and maintain records of all specialty medications

?Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a clinical pharmacist in specialty pharmacy required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Have worked with initial assessments and reassessments with specialty disease states
• Home infusion dispensing experience
• Hemophilia dispensing experience
• Experience with Initial Assessments on Patient Therapy and Reassessments.

Full Time  13 weeks - Temp to Perm -
Day shift
Must meet the majority of the requirement in the job description
Must have Specialty Pharmacy experience - must know oncology meds and IVs.
